For the last year or two because of the crazy fuel prices that we have had to deal with, I have been contemplating changing my oil-burning furnace to propane. I did my due diligence and called several companies. After thoroughly reviewing the 3 companies who actually responded and would provide a written quote, I decided to go with Virginia Plumbing, Heating and AC. The removed and disposed of the old underground oil fuel tank and oil furnace and neatly replaced the soil where the tank was as well. They installed a New 95% Efficient Goodman Propane-Converted gas furnace, helped me secure a propane fuel company and a better propane price than I was able to find on my own, and they organized everything with the new 500 gallon propane above-ground tank placement. The entire job took 2 men 3 days and it went very smoothly. Their quote came in at least $800 lower than the other 2 companies and there were no hidden or extra charges when the job was complete. Everything works great. My only regret is not having the work done 2 years ago, because the reduction in my homeowners insurance and savings in heating my home would have paid me back for the cost of this new furnace by now!
