Went to Mountain View Tire a week ago to have some new tires installed on my car. A few hours after I had left my car, they called with some information. My car was in need of struts. The new struts would be around $1000 for all four. I told them not to do it, that I would check it out and if I decided to have them replaced I would be in contact with them. I was not so trusting since I had just taken my car to the dealer a week prior for it's recommend maintenance and they did not mention anything about the struts. So I took my car to a trusted mechanic that I have used for many years. He checked the struts and said that they do not need to be replaced and are in good shape. I have been coming to Mountain View for many years and never had a problem. I must have been lucky. I will never purchase tires here again.
