I went to the pharmacy to get a prescription for birth control pills and specifically said "no generic", I want the name brand. Many women know generic pills can be up to 7% different, and generic for Ortho Tri Cyclen makes me sick! Anyway, they gave me my prescription in a non see-thru bag (privacy) but I still had some free-samples my doctor gave me to use up before starting my rx. Well, when I opened my bag, I was given generics! So I returned to the pharmacy to tell them what happened and if they would give me the real OTC and I'd pay the difference, they refused. Well, those generics costed me $30, and I was not willingly going to throw away that much money on account of their own mistake! The generics were still sealed, unopened, and receipt stapled to the bag! I asked to talk to the store manager, who was not there. I had to return to talk to her, who only told me I'd have to talk to the pharmacy mgr who was not there, and I had to return again. The mgr, Scott Larsen, was unbelievably rude and smug!! First thing he says is "We didn't do anything wrong, we never make mistakes", after greeting me by saying "is this about the 6-month old prescription" instead of a "hello". The rx was NOT 6 months old (a mistake right there), and I told him the situation. He takes my receipt and pills and says he'll do some research on the problem and call me later that day. Well, days pass and I get no call. So I had to return AGAIN (this makes it seven trips total) only to be greeted with a scowl, no hello, just a "yeah?" so when I ask what the hell is going on, he walks away from me! Midsentence!! He finally returns later with my pills that say in bold print, ORTHO TRI NESSA and points to the prescription written by my doctor that said in legible writing, ORTHO TRI CYCLEN and says, "there's no mistake here". So I say "How come my prescripton says Tri Cyclen, which is what I asked for, and the pills say something else? That looks like a mistake to me! And an expensive one too!" So he takes $30 and THROWS IT AT ME! Does anyone else reading this want to be treated like that, by a manager? Especially for their own mistake?? Is that how a manager should handle a not-so-unreasonable issue? I never even asked for my money back, let alone wanted it thrown at me. I just wanted the correct pills!!!
