Review content:
It pains me to write this because I enjoy their food, but at a certain threshold rudeness pushes even loyal customers away from a favorite eatery... for a restaurant that is BYOB, it seems odd to me that a family who are regulars, who happen to have a six-year-old who specifically requested that restaurant for her special birthday dinner, are charged a $10 'cake fee' for bringing in a tiny $7 princess cake from the grocery store (they don't serve wine because they don't have a liquor license, and I am pretty sure they don't make princess cakes for 6-year-olds)... if that is their policy, that's fine, but when asked about it, the above-mentioned threshold that was crossed occurred when an employee took out a $10 bill from the register and waved it in the face of the mother. That is just bushleague, and that is why Cafe Amore is losing my business and why all of our friends will hear about this poor showing... sorry Cafe Amore, but you have to earn customer loyalty. Pros: BYOB and good food Cons: bad attitudes
