Review content:
Horrible, unprofessional service! Condescending and rude! I spoke with the owner of Instant Sign and Banner over the phone while I was working on ideas for a sidewalk sign. I had a specific idea of how I wanted to make the sign and wanted to know if his business could accomodate my requests. The owner was initially helpful and it seemed his services would work for me. When I stopped by a week later it was a completely different story. He was having trouble understanding what I was asking for. I can understand that since I'm not in the professional sign business and I don't understand some of the terminolgy and product applications. I had specific ideas about fonts and stylized lettering. The owner felt I should prepare a mock-up of what I wanted, then he could make something similar to the fonts and design I had chosen. When I called him a few hours later to let him know I had a completed mock-up ready for him he told me I should look for a different sign company. When I said I didn't understand he said, ""That's the problem. Most people that come in here know what they want and don't him and haw around."" Him and Haw?? Since when is asking questions about what types of products a business offers and how I can apply them to my needs considered himming and hawwing? We were initially having trouble understanding each other but I was clear that I had a plan and DID know what I wanted. I didn't know about color options, etc going in but not being familiar with his business why would I? He then told me there were plenty of other sign companies in town and I should talk to one that offers customer service for their customers. I explained that I had figured out what I needed and had a mock-up ready but he ignored me and ended the call. I'm sorry but what? He doesn't have time for customer service and doesn't want to explain what my options are? I don't remember ever encountering such awful customer service in my life. Unbelievable! Needless to say, I will not be giving Instant Sign and Banner any business in the future. Cons: Horrible customer service! Rude and condescending!
