I have been having blurred vision in my right eye for over a year now, and finally my optometrist, Dr. Jacobson was able to convince me to see Dr. Stewart to get a cataract 2nd opinion and possibly the surgery. I was very apprehensive because I never had any kind of surgery before and I do not take any medications - even vitamins or supplements. \r
Alfred, the technician, saw me and did several exams and checks on both eyes before I saw Dr. Stewart. They were able to explain to me in layman's terms everything I needed to know about the surgery and answered all my questions, that my apprehension was somehow alleviated by the time I left the office. \r
On the day of my surgery, I was at the surgery center at 6 AM (my scheduled arrival), did some more paperworks, went to the operation floor, went into the pre-op at 6:30 and was out by 8:00am (this includes the recovery time). I was still a bit groggy but everything else was fine, no pain or headache. I went home, had breakfast, took a nap and by then I can already see the TV clear enough without glasses. The next day at 7am, I drove to Dr. Stewart's main office for a post-op without glasses. I was scheduled for 8 AM but I had a flight to catch for a wedding in St Louis, MO so they let me in immediately. Alfred, once again did some checks (this time just on the operated eye only) and then I saw Dr. Stewart. The day after the surgery, I have a 20/20 on the near distance and 20/25 vision on the far distance. \r
Everybody (at the main office and surgery center) is very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable at what they do. Dr. Stewart really knows what he is doing. He is very confident and did perform a miracle on me. When the time comes that I need my left eye operated on, I will definitely go back to Dr. Stewart. I trust him completely. N. Mayraz,
