Review content:
was told by several eye centers that I could not have LASIK because my prescription was too bad. A friend of mine told me to go visit Dr. Stewart for a second, or should I say, third, opinion. I did, and boy am I glad I did! Talk about someone that take the time to go over all your options! He explained to me that by prescription was so high, that doing laser would make my cornea weak, and may cause problems in the future. He then told me about a relatively new procedure called an “ICL” which is similar to a contact lens that is inserted into the eye, rather than on top of the eye. He told me that I was a good candidate for this new technology. I did my homework on the internet, watched his surgeries on Youtube, and then decided to schedule the procedure. The procedure was a breeze, and took about 15 minutes to do both eyes! I was 20/15 without glasses or contacts the next day!! I couldn’t believe that I will never have to go back to thick glasses or cumbersome contacts again!
