Review content:
We stopped by just out of curiosity and discovered an absolutely wonderful place. We enjoyed sushi quality fish for our cevche with a combo of shrimp, sea bass and mahi-mahi in the sour orange and oregano sauce. DANG! I was impressed. Our waiter suggested the lamb shank for my wife (out of about four other choices) and she was in heaven. I had the Lechon pork which is about as perfect as a pork lover could hope for. Desert was the tres leches cake with caramelized bananas. Our waiter suggested a desert wine (sorry that I do not remember the brand) and urged us to try it with the bananas. Once again- DANG! I really hope these guys make it in such a suburban location. If this place was in LoDo or the (gag) South Pearl district, we would not be able to get a seat. Take the Light Rail to Aspen Grove and check this place out. This is a great place with some cool folks trying to help a chef live his dream. The food is outstanding and I would say that thinking out of the box a bit might reap some big rewards!
Pros: As you can tell, it had a high DANG factor
Cons: Parking can be a bit tricky with Bucca de Beppo as a neighbor
