Where's the beef? at Montis of course... I have been in Arizona for more than 25 years and in this time I have not yet found a better place to dine for steak than Montis. Originally a stable in old town Tempe and now a historic pride, the very best mouth watering, tender Filet Mignon & Prime Rib. The appetizing rosemary spiced bread served before dinner is nothing less than incredible. Strongly recommend for business, romance or family dining. Service is wonderful. Montis is a classic rustic cowboy dining in a modern world with that Spanish southwestern flare to bring you back to the 1800s. In recent years Montis has opened a sister location in Mesa on Alma School Road across from Sears. But I recommend the original in Tempe by the Salt River. Tempe is a smoke free zone and adds a more positive pleasure to the dining experience. Pros: Local hot spot, Value, Location Cons: Access and Parking
