\r Directv is not an option in this complex. They will not allow dishes to be installed on the buildings. All dish installations have to be on a pole, and then cable is run through your window (only via flat cable) or through existing entry points into the building. In my case there was an existing hole drilled through the cement base of the building by TimeWarner, but it wasn't wide enough to fit an additional DTV cable. They would not allow another hole to be drilled through the cement into the basement. They also wouldn't allow me to run a cable through my window citing ""would allow moisture in"". \r \r The contractors working for DTV said they aren't allowed to use flat cables anymore (as of 2 years ago). Dish network apparently still does, so you may be able to get DISH.\r \r I'm disatisfied because i'm forced now to use the price gouging TimeWarner Cable.
