Review content:
I finished building a home this past summer with moreland. As far as the comment of poor customer service, I would disagree. They returned calls promptly and addressed issues. I can say I felt the head contractor was hard to speak with. Any issue was dealt with through the sales department not the contractor directly. He did seemed somewhat insulted when I asked about why things were being done how they were. All in all, though it was fair and my questions were answered. I would have also liked an electrical walk through, but they do not do it. Home is good and No issues. If this is your first home, just research things in a library or on the internet. I learned so much that allowed me to ask the necessary questions. Don't trust anyone when they build your home, double check all their work no matter who you choose. Their object is to get in and out and to do it cheaply and quickly as possible. They classic saying I found from the many contractors and workers I spoke with during this process was ""it looks good from my house!"" Meaning it does not matter after they are gone! This was said by several contractors I consulted during the whole building process, not from any of the Moreland Guys. If you like the homes, do it, just keep up on your building and visit the site often! Pros: Informative and Helpful Cons: Needs to be more one on one discussion
