This woman contracted me to write some copy for her web site. I bent over backwards to accommodate her—references, writing sample, tons of emails, etc. She gave me the go-ahead for the job, and, as is customary, I told her I would need a deposit—no different from what she would expect in her line of work. Though she assured me she would put the money in my Paypal, she never did. Simply disappeared, would not return my communications. Finally got her on the phone; told me she was “so glad I called”, assured me she was looking forward to getting the job under way. Her way of turning on the sweetness was almost scary. Then just disappeared again. She strikes me as untrustworthy and/or a complete flake. I would strongly advise NOT working with her, as well as reading the comments that are all over the web about her (wish I had). I’m not one to normally go out of my way to write bad reviews but in this case I felt compelled.\r
