I recently took my car to the Tin Lizzy car wash in Chandler Indiana. I paid $8 for the service and the machine took my money and the car wash never started. I called the number that was there and received no answer after calling multiple times.
I later found out the owner and located his number the phone book, I called the owner and he was not home but I left a message for him to return my call. He eventually returned my call and assured me that he would refund my money by mail.
It has been a week and I have not received a refund. I tryed calling the owner again but each time I call no answer.
I think its bad enough to display a number for you to call in case there is an issue, and no ever answers at that number. I think its even worse that a bussiness owner gives you his word and dosent stand by it, this just shows you that our bussiness does not mean a thing to the owner. I have used that car wash for several years and not had any problems in the past. I have been a faithful customer and spent several hundred dollars at this wash over the years, and did this becuase of the quality of service as well as I wanted my money to go in to the pocket of a small bussiness owner and support our community, however I did not literally mean for the bussiness to pocket my money, and get no service in return. In conclusion I will never do bussiness with this car wash again and would advise anyone else who would like to keep their money to look for an alternate bussiness that provides the same service, and stands behind there word. I know some people are thinking well $8 is not enough to get upset about, and perhaps that is true, however it must have meant somthing to this "so called bussiness man", because he has my money, and I got no service, no refund, and now cant even get an answer when I call. So owner take my $8 and get yourself something nice, I would suggest you use it to get your car washed, but we already know how that ends dont we.
