I wish that the owner would of Disclosed ALL their Requirements to have a Warranty when they are done with your vehicle. \r I was told that since I had a nitrous kit on my car, they would NOT WARRANTY THEIR WORK UNLESS I removed it. I told him now is a great time to tell me that, that that condition wasn't mentioned when I brought it,, if it was, I would of gone someplace else. \r I find with out that I was lucky the car would even go down the street and it needed a list of 20-25 parts.. I told him it was a special transmission and the car was a collector because of it being a NCHP car. After paying the over $2400.00 to rebuild my transmission, transmission that was still functioning well and all I wanted it was it checked out.\r Worse thing, the car being a collector, a 2001 North Carolina Highway Patrol car that is 1 of 65. The parts they put in the transmission weren't really for that type of transmission, made for long distance fast highway miles. They put in it, what THEY THOUGHT WAS BEST. not per the specs of the actual transmission. When I picked up my car, he told me they put all upgraded parts in it and I told him I could of bought a brand NEW transmission for the same price of him doing mine. 4 months down the road, It started acting funny in 3rd to 4th and have learned to live with it. \r \r Never again will I go there or recommend any Mr. Transmission on Pleasantburg to no one and I always tell my story.\r BEST and FAIREST transmission work in town is in Maudlin at Advance Transmission.
