Review content:
I've practiced Dynamic Power Yoga PLUS! with Suze since before she had her 1st studio location. She used to travel to various locations across the metroplex , bringing her yoga-style to us , wherever she could find a space. The first class -- I was hooked!! I was tired of the gym & amazed that ""yoga"" (Suze's style of yoga) could give me such an overall work-out. I'd lie on my mat at the end of a class, completely drenched - feeling my heart, lungs, muscles - but none of the chronic pain I had from too many years of weights & running. It's coming up on 9 years for me, practicing DPYP! Not only have I maintained a healthy physical body, but I've learned so much about how our thoughts & emotions affect our physical body. Over all these years, Suze created a beautiful space for us to practice. By beautiful, I mean more than how it looks. All of her teachers and staff welcome us and care for us the moment we enter the Studio. There is a sense of being ""real"" - that it's safe to be your'self' here, no matter who you are. Suze's style emphasizes sound-vibration release. It seemed weird at first - now I couldn't imagine 'holding it in'. What I am most grateful for is that I've always been able to count on my DPYP! yoga practice. Suze speaks often about bringing our dreams into reality; and that to do that - we need a strong foundation. I read her bio on her web-site. Maybe it's her farm upbringing - I don't know; but, she's created and continues to maintain a strong foundation - a place for us to practice - consistent class times, consistent teachers. I own a business and I'm sure there were many times throughout the years that Suze didn't feel like teaching, but us students never felt that. When she teaches, it's as if no-one in the world is more important than her students. I'm not a boyfriend or girlfriend or any special person in this yoga studio. I've just observed over many years and wanted to express my gratitude.
Pros: Value, Consistency, Inspiration, For Everyone
Cons: Arrive Early for Popular Class-Times
