Monk Wise has been a really great place to meet people and to learn kung fu and tai chi. the support i feel is amazing and everyone is so nice. i was so scared when i first started but on my first day everyone was so nice and welcoming that i really felt welcome and i really wanted to keep going. the instructors at Monk Wise are so smart and so caring. they really listen to you and try to help with any concerns or problems your having with learning the moves/styles/weapons training. its a great work out and is so good for you, it has helped me loose weight and lower my cholesterol. one of my favorite things that we learn are the weapon styles. they have such a variety of traditional chinese weapons to learn, i cant think of one that they are missing from their program. if your looking for a more relaxing and calming work out, then i would suggest tai chi. it is amazing what you can learn from tai chi. it is like a dance that you can apply to self defense. i suggest Monk Wise for the whole family. if i had started when i was a kid, then i would not have gotten myself into so much trouble while growing up. i can see how it changes your overall look on how you live and how you treat yourself and others with respect. its always nice to see new faces so come and give it a try :)
