I do not even think 1 star is worth this Clinic. I went about 3 weeks ago because of my skin itching. I have been known to have folliculitis before and I knew I would have to see a dr to get any meds for it. I called a dr office in my hometown and asked if they knew of any great dermatology clinics and this one was suggested. I told the dr I saw at the clinic about my past history with folliculitis, she still insisted that it wasn't that and gave me a Rx for a pill and cream, to which the cream didn't have a generic for so I spent $60 between both of them. All the cream did was calm my skin, and it started itching again right after I stopped using it. I had asked a co-worker what they thought it was and she said her husband just got diagnosed with folliculitis and it looked exactly the same. I then in turned call this clinic back and asked to speak with a nurse, and she said that they weren't available and that she would leave a message for them to call. I told her specifically I was in school and that if they weren't able to call me that day, I needed to let her know the times I would be available the next day for them to call because I had final exams the next day. She promised they would call me back that day, well they didn't. I missed the call the next morning because I was taking a test. When I returned the call the lady on the phone seemed like it was a problem for her to leave a message for a nurse since I had already missed their call. 6 hours later, I still had not received a return call back to me. The same lady answered the phone and said, ""I have already left them a message once this morning, they will get back to you when they get time!"" I then asked her to see if a nurse was available, when she returned to the line, her response was, ""They are busy, you will just have to wait."" Then I asked her to let me speak with her office manager, guess what, her office manager was on vacation, but she still transferred me to make me even more mad. I then called back and by this time I was furious, and I asked her why she would do that, and she laughed. FINALLY, I was able to talk to a nurse that explained things a little better, but then when I told her I wasn't paying my $45 co-pay again because its a problem that I told the dr it was and she said it wasn't, they want me to pay for my co-pay again. Sorry, not doing that since the dr didn't listen the first time. The nurse also explained to my that it was an office policy that if messages are left after noon that day, they would be most likely returned the next day. If it is a policy, why wasn't I told that? Does the staff not know policies and guidelines of their job? If they are going to give one patient a run around like me, they are going to do it to another one. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else. I called the dr office that referred me to this clinic and told them my problems and they said that I am the 3rd person this month that has called them and told them how bad their experience had been and that they would not be referring anyone else to them. Had my experience been not so horrible with the office staff, I don't think I would have been this mad if someone would have just took the time to explain things.
