BE VERY, VERY CAREFUL HERE! They purport to be an ?Antiques Mall,? yet they also sell MASS-PRODUCED JUNK that is neither antique, nor collectible! I found a cute seahorse box figurine and bought it. Much to my dismay, when I checked for a similar item on the internet, I found it at amazon and Sears ? mass produced ? looks identical to the item I bought ? painted exactly the same way ? exact dimensions (I measured it) ? exact same materials ? at significantly less than what I was charged at the Sugar Chest Antique Mall. I called them to arrange return of the item and got a nasty response from a rude little man who identified himself as ?Ray.? He looked up the item and refused to accept it back on the condition that it is not an antique nor a collectible because it said on it?s tag ?SEA HORSE? and did not include the words ?antique? or ?collectible.? So they will gladly rip you off and turn it back around at you! Some way to run a supposed ANTIQUE MALL! I have left word on another Sugar Chest employee?s voicemail for a manager or owner to call me about this. I am also planning on doing a charge-back with my credit card company if they do not graciously accept my return OR reduce the price to what the item costs on the internet. There are a lot of nice items here though, so I would advise shoppers to (1) ALWAYS USE A CREDIT CARD HERE so you can do a chargeback in case you find you are ripped off as I had been and (2) BEFORE YOU BUY SOMETHING IN HERE, CHECK ON THE INTERNET so you do not find yourself stuck paying too much for a mass-produced, non-antique, non-collectible that they don?t want to accept a return on like I did!
