I loved this out of the way movie theater ever since it opened and I've been dragging all my friends to it for years which is why I'm so sad to say I'll never be back. Over the last several months, they've been showing the movies unbearably loud. I've complained about it several times, but it seems to be getting worse. Today was the last straw. The movie was louder than the trailers and even after I complained, I had to put in ear plugs which I have never done in a theater before. Yuck. Afterward, I spoke to an apathetic manager who didn't know what a decibel is or how many of them it takes to damage a person's hearing. There are a lot of other movie theaters where I've never had to say anything about the sound, so I guess I'll be going elsewhere to watch my summer action movies.
