Review content:
I had been looking into purchasing a Shepherd puppy for some time and found TNT Family K-9. Mr. Stewart and Ms. Causby are absolutely wonderful. After setting up the initial meeting, I knew TNT was the only place I'd feel comfortable buying a puppy from. Upon visiting, you'll notice that not only are their own dogs extremely well behaved, but the building is very clean and the property is gorgeous (I'm envious of their pond). Also, you do not just ""buy"" a puppy from them, like most breeders in the area. They wanted to meet with me and my family, and we had to bring in our two dogs so they could match us with a puppy who would work in our life. Once the puppies were born, we were able to visit them at 6 weeks. Again, unlike most breeders I've seen who are not vigilant about the health and care of their puppies, we were not able to handle the puppies at that age and had to step in bleach prior to entering the room where the dogs were. Newo, our puppy, is now almost 6 months old, and I'm complemented on her all the time. We've taken her to TNT for training from the week we brought her home, and she's already more well behaved than our other dogs. My vet (Glenway Animal Hospital) has even commented on how great her health and temperament is, and asked me where I got her from so he could get a puppy from them in the future.
Whether you're looking to get a puppy or train your dog (they train other breeds as well), this is the place to go. I get the feeling that Mr. Stewart and Ms. Causby really care about helping you with any problems so that you're happier with your dog. I also mentioned my interest in schutzhund to Mr. Stewart, and that day he set up an appointment to begin training. I couldn't ask for anything more in a training school. Great people, great place to go.
