Grew up in Milwaukee with Gilles and Kopp's frozen custard, and was amazed when I found out that other cities did not enjoy this treat. Finally, after years of searching, I've found frozen custard in Chicago. Thank you Scooter's. The store is very simple, so do not expect any elegance in decorating, the focus is on the food especially the custard. There is a normally empty city parking lot next to the library behind Scooters, so it is easy to drive up, park, grab some custard and head home. Highly recommended I like the hot fudge sundae with chocolate custard.
