My husband and I were forced to find a new venue for our wedding four months before our date due to construction issues with a hotel we had originally booked with over a year before. Fortunately, Lakeview had our date available and we couldn't have asked for better service and understanding. We were so upset at the time, knowing that there was little chance we would be able to find a venue that close to our date, let alone one which would be so beautiful and professional! The owners, Susie and Cindy, are extremely organized and fast at getting back to you with any concerns or changes in your menu or additional details. They were both out and about during the wedding reception and asked each of us several times if there was anything we needed. The room looked spectacular and the gazebo was a great addition for our pictures. Surprisingly, and still somewhat a mystery, my husband had asked for a different beer selection aside from the traditional brands and we had originally been told this would be an extra charge. He decided to stick with the beers on their menu and was very surprised to see the beer he had asked about the day of the wedding - and at no extra charge! We were even sent a beautiful Lenox vase from the owners as a wedding gift! I would suggest using Lakeview for any wedding or party needs! They were fantastic!
Pros: Great service, beautiful scenery, excellent food
Cons: none~ except that we didn't look here originally!
