Businiess name:  Ragin Cajun Cafe

Review content:
I read about Ragin Cajun here on Citysearch and since my family is from New Orleans and I've grown up eating good cajun food, I decided to try it. I hate to have anything negative to say, but to say I was disappointed is an understatement. When I looked at the shrimp ettoufee (spelling?) I thought I was seeing things. It looked and tasted like it came out of the frozen food section of your local grocery store. Everything else I ordered was the same. The okra was no different than Church's Chicken (except about $4 more in price), I've had better hush puppies (regularly) at the local fish market, and my mama makes better shrimp right in our kitchen. Nothing I ordered was special in any way. But what really SLAYED me was the $25 I spent! Maybe I just ordered the wrong things? Sorry, but this is NOT authentic Cajun food.... Pros: staff friendly, bayou decor Cons: food, prices for what you're getting
