Review content:
My wife and I go the Market Theatre on a date night atleast once a month. It is a cozy improv club in Post Alley just down the stairs from the pig. We arrive a little early and grab a drink. The bar is a great little place to meet the improvisors, have a few laughs, and grab a cheap drink. When the show begins an improvisor will introduce the show, grab a suggestion or two, and then the performers create before your very eyes. Last night we stopped by to check out their new show, Loop. From the suggestions of Green Lake, a spork, and hobo the improvisors created a woderfully creative story about Tin Can Pete and a duo marathon. The great thing about improv is you will never see the same show twice and you get to witness the creative process! You can check out a list of shows at unexpectedproductions dot org.
Pros: Ambience, Comedy, Good People
Cons: They are only open 4 nights a week
