I have never taken the time to write one of these reviews, but i was recently motivated to do so by the front office staff at Chef Jean pierre's cooking school. My mother (who is totally computer illiterate) tried to call and sign us up for a $120 per person class. The woman she spoke to over the phone was rude and condescending towards my mom - and so my mom gave up on booking our session. When i called, I received the same treatment, and then finally with a sigh, the woman said, ""I am not supposed to do this, but I will go ahead and sign you up for the class myself. You are supposed to do this online"" Mind you, we had a more complicated transaction involving credits from another class that was canceled, gift certificate, etc. I am sorry, but in these economic times, for her to be so off-putting and uppety is just uncalled for. Ridiculous behavior in my opinion. She also followed up the conversation saying, ""I will do it for you this time, but next time you have to do it on your own."" As if Im a child. My response: No need. i dont plan on returning EVER. Not worth the aggravation!
Pros: Informative and fun classes
Cons: Very rude front office personnel, snobby and stuck up
