A collection agency from hell! I just found out from my credit report that PAM reported that there's a $200 unpaid ticket issued by DC (where I live) in year 2000!! In fact, I did receive a collection notice from them dated 10/19/07, and I responded with a letter on 11/5/07 - the ticket was not mine, and I didn't even own the car at the time this ticked was issued. I even attached my title report as proof. Moreover, I never received this citation from DC DMV at any time, and I was assured all these years whenever I renewed my car registration that there were no outstanding parking violation of any sort. What's going on? Anyway, dispite my letter of communication, they reported it to the credit beaureu, and caused my credit score went down.
