Unless you like feeling insulted and looked down on I strongly recommend you show elsewhere for your gown or tux needs. We went to Threads as part of a Cotillion program for a group of wonderful girls who were looking forward to the experience of going to their first ball. We went for the initial fitting as a group, and several of us mothers instantly felt as if we were not welcome in the shop. I watched as my daughter was fitted by a staff member, well measured and everything written down correctly. After that nothing else went well in with this shop owner In short I was brushed off, ignored, lied to and in the end had to beg for my daughters dress, and was told that because she had to drop out of the cotillion at the last minute I had to pay additional money to get the dress. When I finally received it through a third party it was the wrong dress in the wrong size. I heard from a coordinator of the cotillion that other girls that did attend the ball has similar issues, wrong dresses that were ill fitting. All I can say is If the owner was so put out by this program, she should not agree to do it in the first place. Sad that she doesn't even think that we may have money to return to her shop in the future. Pros: Staff tries to be friendly Cons: The owner is a horrible rude snob
