Review content:
I am an employee/paramedic at American Ambulance. I've been in EMS, both public and private, for 20+ years. All I can say about the ""Liar's Cheat's and Embezzeler's"" post is ""Thank God that person is no longer at American."" To think that someone obviously without compassion and with such anger was providing care to the sick and injured. I would not want you to care for my loved ones!!! I needed the services of an ambulance in May of 2009, the call I made was NOT to 911 (sorry Dayton, nothing personal) but to the company I work for: American Ambulance. The care I received was superb, second to none. (Thanks Nick and Mark). Over the years I have seen Dan and Ken, as well as the rest of the management team work hard to keep people at work during these tough times. Instead of laying off when work was slow they found other opportunities to keep their employees on the job. During times of personal crisis they have stood by, and stood behind their employees. I have seen employees leave to work elsewhere, and return, prodigal sons and daughters, glad to be back in our little fold. Who ever you are, shame on you for being a coward. It's easy to sit at a keyboard and be vindictive and mean when you won't sign your name. I'm sorry you're so bitter and angry, those emotions won't take you far in this field or in life. Success in this profession takes courage, integrity and compassion, perhaps you had those qualities once, it is my hope for you that you find them again. Good luck. Leah Conrad EMT-P Pros: Small caring company.
