Review content:
I ended up coming here for a few reasons. I became pregnant and my regular insurance refused to pay for my prenatal care. I ended up on Medicaid and only had a short time to find a doctor's office. In Lakeland, you really only have two options and I tried both. This place was no better than the first.
The wait time here is INSANE. Be prepared to wait at least an hour to get back to a room and at least 30 more minutes to see the nurse.
Quite a few of the nurses here are very nice and you get to know them pretty well over 5 or 6 months. The nurse practitioner can be pretty good too though she seemed rather stressed and busy and did not leave a lot of time to answer questions.
The doctor I was ""assigned"" to, I never met. The only doctor I did meet was very rude and short with me a lot of the time. She performed a c-section on me and was a little bit calming before the surgery but not much. I had to go back in a week two weeks later (can't remember how long) to get my incision checked out and she had no idea who I was and did not remember the procedure. I get that you have a lot going on but geez!
Really, avoid this place. The nice nurses do not make up for the lack of good doctors or quality time you'll get with anyone with real knowledge.
