Review content:
Matthew and his family (all from Germany), have created a little piece of Germany right here in Windermere. Do not let the exterior steer you away with the slightly dated exterior located next to Publix, but wait to pass judgement till you get inside. Having been to Germany many times, I can attest that you feel like you are in a very romantic, quaint, and intimate German bistro once inside. The smell from the wood fire grill welcomes you in, and there are many German beers on tap with the requisite boots to drink them in if so desired (careful on that last gulp...there's a trick to it;o)
Our favorites are the Filet Mignon and Pork Tenderloin. Service is great as this is a family run business, and they realize there is a lot of competition for your hard earned dollars these days.
We have tried all the big name steak restaurants, and while good, a lot of times are very loud. If you would like a romantic dinner where you can actually hear your date, this is the place for you!
Pros: Service, German ambiance, steaks, pork tenderloin
Cons: Exterior/strip mall hides the great experience inside
