I went to breakfast one morning with my mother to Shelly's. She said she heard it was nice! LOL depends on what a definitiion of nice is. So I ordered the combo breakfast special that came with 2 eggs, pancakes, and ham or bacon.. I don't remember exactly. I have an allergy to wheat so I asked the waitress to omit the pancakes for something else and I asked that my eggs be cooked.. no runny egg whites on my plate. So I get my plate and my eggs are running off as I told my server to make sure not to do! I also asked for extra bacon because I didn't want the pancakes. So I went to the front of the store to complain to the manager who got an attitude but said she would come to my table. She was not only the manager but the owner! She finally came to my table and I thought she came to resolve the issue but she was worse than the poor little waitress. She yelled at me telling me that she had to get back to the kitchen before she burnt my eggs which were runny again when I got them and I got no hashbrowns this time but enough bacon to kill somebody with. When I told the waitress I didn't want pancakes because I'm allergic she said, so you don't want hashbrowns? I have never seen an owner come out of the kitchen with an attitude! I was shocked that somebody that would want customers would have such a nasty attitude! Not only was the owner nasty, we couldn't even get a fork picked up to eat and the server already had our check on the table... no rush huh?! THE WORST!!! The server couldn't pay attentino to us because she was busy visiting with a friend who was also there to have breakfast. . I've seen bad service but this was the worst. I should have gotten up and left when my eggs were running off my plate but didn't want to cause a scene with my mother.
