Review content:
We all know that different people like different things in hair salons. Let me tell you what I like and why Humphrey's works for me.
I don't like a lot of fuss at hair salons. I am picky about my haircut and want it to look nice, so I like to go to nice places. However, I don't color my hair or do anything else to it. Also, sometimes I find high-end salons a difficult experience because they seem fussy, pushy, and have stylists that strike me as a little fawning. I'm just not that kind of girl. I don't like a lot of attention and gushing.
This is why Franz at Humphrey's is perfect for me: he JUST does haircuts, and in consequence he does them really well. He'll give you a great, stylish, thoughtful cut for a reasonable price, BUT he is very relaxed throughout the process. He understands that I want to spend 5 minutes a day on my hair and caters to my needs instead of pushing me to do something else. He is frank, businesslike, friendly, and just flat-out good at what he does. He listens to what I want and does it better than I could have described - no bones about it.
In consequence, I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who wants a ""high-end"" haircut out of a really low-maintenance experience. This can be tough to find and I went to many different salons before settling permanently at this one!
Kudos to him and kudos to Humphrey's for offering a range of stylists. I know that everyone wants a different experience when they go to a hair salon. I respect people's preferences, and just wanted to add mine to the praise already on this site. I feel like Humphrey's does a good job hiring a variety of people so that there is something for everyone at their salon!
