Review content:
I would like to recommend this business, as I have deep convictions about patronizing local shops over national chains. However it is clear that this company does not value my business. I opted to buy my materials for the construction of a chicken coop/run for my back yard. The project rang up about $750 in materials. I paid a bit more for these materials than I would have at a Lowes, but felt it was the responsible thing to do. If the price difference weren't enough, there were two points that made me really regret this decision. First, I entered the store at sometime before 4:00 pm and presented a list of things I needed and asked for help in finding them. The clerk informed me that I had waited until the last minute, that they closed at 4. Begrudgingly he helped me collect the items I needed. Second, when the project was finished I returned two sheets of plywood and several items of hardware. I was charged a 15% restocking fee as I was 5 days past the 14 day refund deadline. I told the clerk that I want to do business locally, but nonsense like this makes it very difficult to do so. I am not ready to start shopping at Lowes or Home Depot, but I will find a different local supplier for my next project. This company must prefer to do business with big contractors rather than local DIY customers.
