Review content:
We thought we would try a different waterpark this year. Been to Chula Vista and The Wilderness (loved both!). From their website, Mt. Olympus seemed great and the rooms looked really cool. Since there as no mention of a seperate hotel belonging to them that was considered the ""value hotel"", we incorrectly assumed it was all part of the same hotel just more basic rooms. But when we got there, we found out the ""value hotel"" was not even connected to the water park, it was next to it and the main hotel. And then - when we got to our room it went even more downhill. The place stunk (literally), the bathroom light did not work (more on that below), mildew was present in the bathroom tub/shower, holes the size of a small oranges were in both the bathroom door and walls and needed to be brought up-to-date. Now about the light in the bathroom: we promptly called the front desk to tell them the light wasn't working, they told us maintenance would be right there. So in the meantime, we went to dinner. When we came back -we checked the light, it was working but apparently the toilet wasn't! The maintenance person had the audacity to urinate in our toilet and didn't flush!! And they also left a wadded up gum wrapper on the bathroom floor!!! We made a comment to the front desk upon checking out that we have stayed at way nicer places for waaaaaaaaaaay less money - the place was horrible! And we got no response - how's that for customer service? :(
Pros: THUMBS WAY DOWN
Cons: Most of their hired help barely spoke english and never knew answers to questions. Aren't I in America?
