If you every have a total knee replacement, I would recommend Bitzel & Associates. Ray Bitzel was recommended to me by my surgeon, Dr. Whitten. Due to a DVT after surgery, my home therapy was limited and my knee would not bend more than 80 degrees. I have to let you know, the first day I went to see Ray, I was petrified. He called me his ""Rookie"", his ""new meat"". Ray didn't know what he was getting in to with me. I would anticipate that pain was coming and would put on the brakes. Then he gave me the nickname, Thunder Thighs, and told me I should join the Ravens! I gave him quite a workout a few times. Because of the DVT and having to have a knee manipulation due to the buildup of scar tissue, I have been seeing Ray for about 4 1/2 months. My knee is now bending at more than 120%. I go back to see Dr. Whitten tomorrow and more than likely I will be released from therapy. I will surely miss Ray. If I ever have to get my other knee replaced, I would go to see him from the very beginning and not do the home therapy. He is a great guy! Thanks, Ray!
