I needed to arrange transportation for myself and five other people for valentines day and I could not have gone through much more trouble to do it. The receptionist thought I was one of their creditors at first and told me that her boss was not there. After I managed to explain to her that I was a potential client, i was quoted a rate that was to be expected and assured that the arrangements were set. Come valentines day, we were waiting for 45 minutes for our limo to show up. I had a word with the driver and found out that Tony, the boss i was referred to by one of my colleagues, had only told the driver of the job 30 min ago. seeing as my date was pretty angry with me i decided to talk to the driver, so as not to dig myself any deeper into trouble. This poor fellow did not even work for the company, but was a freelance driver with his own lincoln stretch. He explained that the company did everythin it could to find the cheapest freelancer or have some one in the employ of the company do it themselves. Thus, many customers are left waiting for a ride. I returned to my date and enjoyed the rest of the evening. When we were being dropped off i had a chat with driver as i was the last dropped off. Just outside my flat he explained to me that the gratuity that was figured into my bill was not actually going to him. I found it hard to believe, but then i considered how the receptionist automatically assumed i was a creditor. Call me a bleeding liberal, but i thin i will pass on these guys in the future, not only for my convenience, but on principle as well. This company apparently bounces it checks, and manages to bill you just a little over what they quoted you as well. My advice, find a better company and take the personal number of a driver that you particularly like. That way, you'll always get the right guy and most likely a better price. You even help the driver out!!! Pros: They have great guys driving nice cars. Cons: Not so nice guys running the place.
