I have investigated all parks in the Jacksonville area, before I moved here. They have many rules I agree with such as no rentals in this section, only owner occupied. However whether this is being enforced is questionable. Most of the tenants in my section (WEST) own their own Doublewides and take very good care of them and the property. But I was shocked to see a raise in the rent of $23 this year, when there have been no major improvements and in fact last year (rent raise $11) the pool was not available until almost May....with lots of lame excuses...the supposed Club House is being used by the Office People, so you might as well say it is non-existent and the bumps are doing a job on my auto springs. My husband and I are seniors and we are getting no rebate whatsoever on our fees, lthough if we owned a home we would be getting one. There must be something which can be done. I too will be forced to move out soon though I love the location, if the enornmous fee raises continue. I see the park becoming vacant soon at this point because of the raises, must have a vacancy of 35% or more with nothing added. Pros: Right on way to Beach...We have wonderful neighbors Cons: Rent amount and lack of monitoring some tenants
