I had the worst service at Bamboo Garden and was totally surprised that this happened in a Seattle restaurant. The older male waiter would not speak to me and instead asked my boyfriend everything. ""Sir, what would you like to drink, Sir, have you decided, etc."" When ""Sir"" answered for himself, the waiter started to walk away instead of looking at me. I was never acknowledged as ""Miss"" or as anything else for that matter. When my boyfriend asked for chopsticks for the two of us, of course they were presented to him first, as was the menu, food, etc. As I have never experienced this type of ignoring at a Chinese restaurant, I won't chalk it up to cultural differences, but rather I'd say it was a rude waiter. While the food was good, I will never go back!
