I have had the fortunate opportunity to witness various acts of heroics from the volunteers of the Orland Volunteer Fire Dept. From structure fires to public assistance calls, they tirelessly answer the publics call for help. It takes the right kind of person to be able to deal with everything that these guys encounter. Our community should be very thankful that these guys volunteer their valuable time to answer the call for help. 100 years of volunteer service is something to be very proud of.
