Do not be fooled by pictures. The lake is pretty choppy and I considred it too dangerous. I made reservations for a Saturday and Sunday but was afrair to get in the water since it was very windy and the waves were pretty high. The owner still charged me for the 2 days. When I called to make reservations, he told me that he was almost 100% sold. This was a lie. There was no one else there renting any of his equipment. My advise, do not make reservations. Show up and check the water. Besides there are other places in the area that rent canoes much cheaper. Maria Vidal, Austin,TX
