I'm so upset. I've been going to Guido's at least once a week for sandwiches; as well as, meat for grilling for about 7 years. My sub of choice is Roast Beef, Turkey, and Ham. They've always made this with 1/3 of each normal meat in the individual subs. Today, I was told it would be an extra $1.50 for each additional meat. Not additional meat, just making a sandwich with more than one kind of meat. The reasons given: 1) that's what the owner said to do; 2) You'd pay more at LaSpada (this isn't correct- They have sandwiches with more than one meat on the menu, but a Monster isn't $3.00 more than a Roast Beef) and 3) there's more labor. On principal, I left because this is a crappy way to treat your customers. Others were complaining too and indicating that they won't be back. Here's an idea, have on your menu a couple of other options (Any 2 meats is $x.xx for small & $x.xx for large; Any 3 meats is $x.xx , etc- and make it a difference of somewhere in the neighborhood of $.50-$.75. Oh well, I'm going to really miss those guys, but I can go to Smitty's, LaSpada, etc.
