The concept here is terrific. They only have 3 items on the menu, shrimp with bread, rice, or pasta. Rich and I both chose the shrimp with bread which is really just a big bowl of shrimp in a spicy broth and a colander full of all the bread you can cram into your face. The problem with a single-dish concept like this, is that the single dish had better be absolutely incredible. We found the shrimp here to be good, but not great. The sauce was spicy but without any complexity. It needed salt or perhaps further reduction to bring out some other flavors. On the whole, we enjoyed our meal, and the service was friendly if a little slow. Bottom line - if you only have one thing on the menu, it should be truly ""killer."" This didn't really rate more than manslaughter.
