Review content:
Doesn't come better in Auburn... but things being relative, there's still room for improvement.
First, the food is good, but several dishes are too salty. (A diner might get around this by asking for low-salt...)
Second, several restaurants in Auburn have a similar menu: steak, meat, pasta or some combination of the above. Ricky's menu is long enough, but it would be nice if they put a couple authentic Greek dishes on it instead of just the Greek salad. (This having been said, maybe so many places in town have this similar menu because it is Auburnites' favorite type of food.)
Third, the ambiance was nice, especially in the
no-smoking back room.
Fourth, portions are huge, like several other places in town.
In sum, I would enjoy Ricky's even more if they tone down the salt and add moussaka or the like to the menu.
