Car Care America saved me a fortune! I have been looking at used cars for some time and although I was looking at a luxury vehicle that was only a couple of years old I was advised by a family member to have the car checked out before I signed on the dotted line. I went to CCA because I had my emissions tested there once and I liked the cleanliness and speed of service.
I took this used vehicle to them and although it was being sold by a reputable dealer and was 'certified' the shop's findings were shocking! The car was rusting underneath (I later found out it had been eaten by salt). They gave me a full report that I was able to take back to the dealer and they advised me not to buy the car. I took a second to them and it checked out perfectly except for minor things. The owner, Rob (I think), explained the minor things it needed to me in great detail and told me the car was a good looking car. Based on the evaluation (under $100) I was able to negotiate new tires with the dealer ($1200 value) and had the peace of mind that the car is going to be reliable. As a women, in a man's industry it is so refreshing to be able to go to a clean, honest shop around the corner from my house and be treated properly. They even have a desk where I was able to grade papers while I waited! I have a new shop and would recommend it to anyone!!
Pros: Honest, Experienced, Price
