This was my second year going to Hair Club IB. My first expereince was good, completely staisfied - paid 170 for japanese straightening and cut. Second time, they lowered the price to 150 just to find out they are chargin 20 extra for hair cut...no problem, same price as last year. then they try to sell you this extra treatment for 30. At least my coordinator gave me a choice, some didn't get a choice. As expected, I paid 170 and paid tips according to how I saw fit. When my friend paid, they forced a 20% tip on her. There was a tiny piece of paper on top of the frontdesk where you would of had to stand directly in front to see. You would have never seen it on your way in cause they bring you directly to shampoo area. I waited 2 days to wash my hair and when I washed it, I realized they did a bad job. Althoguh the top of my head was decent, the middle section is frizzy and looks damaged. The first time i went was on the weekday, I'm not sure if that makes a difference but maybe you would get more attention. There are plenty of other Korean salons who charge the same price. I've learned my lesson.
