I've been to several different water parks, but this one is definitely one of the prettiest, and one of the best! With the Smokies surrounding the park, it looks less like a concrete jungle, and more like an old watering hole. There are tons of chairs for lounding in the sun, a huge wave pool, a great lazy river (my favorite - lay back and float), along with some great waterslides. The new Bear Mountain Fire Tower is a great water play area. One neat feature for parents is the kid locator wristbands they rent. For a nominal charge ($2 each, I think) you and your kids get a wristband that are all tuned to the same frequency. There are several view screens in the park that let you wave you wristband in front of it and it will show you where in the park the rest of your party is located. This is one of my favorite summer destinations.
