Review content:
My transmission went out, and since I am new to the area I had my car towed to the closest AAA approved shop. I was appalled when a few days later the estimate was $4000- that is approx. the blue book worth of my 02 Hyundai accent! Not only did they give me such an outlandish estimate, but they also pressured me to make an instant decision. When I told them I wanted to call my dad first, they said ""Let us talk to your dad for you."" When I decided that they would not fix my car, they charged me $70 just to look at it. They did not mention that it might not be worth fixing- they actually swore it was definitely worth the price- whereas other mechanics told me straight up that I ought to buy a new car.
Cons: tried to rip me off!
