I wasn't quite sure what ""the funny named"" ice cream was (called gelato) until I moved to Austin. I first saw it at a chocolate place in an upscale mall and I found it interesting, however the flavors and presentation at Piccomolo's were fantastic! My sister and I went with four kids the other day and the server allowed us to try any flavor we requested and was still gracious when it took us a while to actually place all of our orders. It was kid friendly but also a place I could go with my husband at the end of date night. And I found out that not only is their gelato delicious there but it has less fat in it than regular ice cream.
