Review content:
I went to First Med Urgent Care because I have asmatha, and was having trouble breathing (and had been for about week). I was wheezing really bad, but was not sick. When they finally took me back, I was quite surprised. He didn't take my temperature, he didn't look in my ears, he didn't do a lot of stuff. Just odd. He then told me that I was taking enough meds and it should be under control, but since it wasn't, he was gonna write me a script for steroids to get me better. I know that this is what I needed to get better- that's the only reason I went to the Dr. Stupid me, I didn't even look at the mg. He wrote it for 20mg. That's crap. A normal dosage for adults is 60-80mg. Needless to say, after taking the required dosage for five days, I was still sick. I was upset, and called the Dr. back to see if he would write me a script for a higher dosage. A few minutes later, I got a call back saying that he would not do it. He wanted me to come back in and get another script- ie pay another copay. It's crap. If he had just done his job in the first place, I wouldn't need to go back. I won't be going back there. Also, the walls were paper thin in the clinic. I could hear the guy next to me peeing in the bathroom. Just gross. Don't come here! It's just a waste of time and money, and they won't even get you better!
