If you need a FANTASTIC stylist, give Kim at Body Salon a call. I'm sure her friendly face and great cuts will keep you coming back again and again.
She's done my hair for awhile now, and I've never walked away anything but thrilled with my cut and color. The first time I saw her, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair. I told her to cut it off, and she went to work. It was probably one of the best cuts I'd ever had. The next trip I decided to try color for the first time in several years. She put some nice highlights in, and off I went. Over several appointments i changed colors numerous times. Kim was so patient with me as I figured out exactly what I wanted.
Prior to Kim I had the same hair stylist for 10+ years. When I moved to Portland, I tried several places before I found someone I wanted to devote my hair attention to. Now I wouldn't go to anyone else!
Recently, I decided to change it up again and go for a completely different color. I told her I wanted to do something with a little red in it, so she brought out her book. We looked at the colors and talked a little.
The best part about Kim is that she can kind of read between the lines. When I was looking at the colors and couldn't decide exactly which one I wanted she said ""well, we could start out just adding a hint of red and work in more next time you come."" PERFECT!
Oh, and did I mention how reasonable the prices are? Very competitive with anyone else in the area. And another bonus, no big pressure sales. She asks if you need products, and suggest stuff for you, but you don't feel like you are having them crammed down your throat.
Relaxing, Fun, and inside the cutest little salon, I would recommend Kim (and Body Salon) highly.
